.: graphic novels - covers :.

Suzi has changed significantly since I began the project, and this can best be seen by some of the sample cover pages I've tried. The bottom one is the actual image from the current magazine.

The original. Note that Suzi isn't Asian; her trademark flaming red hair is already in place, though. The latex outfit also doesn't exactly match where it's supposed to fit.

Version Two. Suzi's visibly more Japanese now, and her combat outfit has reached the stage I'm currently using.

Version Three, which may in fact get used in a future issue, is more professional and the combat suit is more realistic--but for a first issue, I'd like to actually show Suzi's face.

So here's where we currently stand--a better overall image in terms of shadows and textures; Suzi's proper half-Asian, half-Caucasian look (with flaming red hair); and the sexy combat suit.

And now we've taken it a step further, with a much higher-quality render that didn't quite make it into the book itself.

Isn't it odd how there's a brick wall in every image? :)
